Sony’s Wireless RF865 Headphones Go Deep

Diposting oleh grumpycrumpy di 19.51

Earbuds are alright but every serious music lover knows you need a set of full headphones to really enjoy what an artist has on offer. But the days of being chained to your stereo are over thanks to Sony’s MDR-RF865RK headphones. These puppies push out some serious quality sound without all the bells and whistles to drive the price up.
Sony claims that they receive a signal from a dock perched up to 100 meters away (roughly the length of a football field) though there’s not word on just how well the signal transmits through interference such as other radio signals and, well, walls.

In addition, they’ll stay juiced up for an impressive 25 hours without a recharge—if only they could apply that technology to cell phones… And when the battery does finally die on you, there’s no more waiting over night for the thing to recharge. Just plug it in and your headphones will be topped off in just 3.5 hours.

For the pricing you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. Sony just announced these cans across the pond (A.K.A the UK). However, if you need an audio fix right now, you can pick up the company’s new noise cancelling earbuds for just about $70 at your favorite online retailers. They’re not wireless but they promise to filter out up to 86% of ambient noise.
For more info on the buds or to order your own, hit up the official Sony website. If you’re waiting for the cans, keep your eyes peeled.
